De it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Slate of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That from arni immediately after tba pussuge of this Act, all nod every person or persons whatsoever, who aro constitutionally qualified to vote for members of tho Legislature of this State, and who may havo resided withiu the present corporate limits of the town of Uoiou sixty days, and their successors, aro hereby deolured to bo members of the corporation hereby iutouded to be created. SEO. 2. Thut thensid persons and their successors shall, from und niter the pas sugu of this Act, become a body politio and corporate, nod shull bo kuowu and culled by name of tho town of Uuiun, and its corporate limits shall extend one mile, in thu direction of cardinal points, from the Spurtuuburg and Union Kail road Depot in suid town, usa contre, and form a square.
