They had been severely wounded in their fight in the store with Mirrick and bis follow . olerk, or by the third and chief burglar, Bulloff, io the river, to get them out of the way, and some of tho articles found ripon them furnished tho clue to Runoff's detection, arrest, trial and conviction of the' murder of Mirriok.
