Juniper Berrica, by distillation, to form a fino gin. Cubebs extracted by displacement with KI uri tn obtained from Juniper Berrica; very little sugar ia used, and a email proportion of spirit, lt is moro palatable than any now in uso. Buchu, as prepared by Druggists, is of a dark color. It ia a plant that emits its fra? grance; tho action of a Ramo destroys this, (its activo principle,) leaving a dark and glu? tinous decoctiou. Mino is tho color of ingre? dients. Th? Buchu in my preparation pre? dominates; the smallest quantity of the other ingredients are added, to prevent fermenta? tion; upon inspection, it will be found not to bo Tincturo, as made in Pharmacopoeia, nor la it a syrup-and therefore can be used in caaes whore fever or inflammation exists. In this, you bavo the knowledge of tho ingredients and the mode of preparation. Hoping that you will favor it with a trial, and that upon inspection it wi!! meet with your approbation.
