Zuck McLaughlin, one of the notorious outlaws of Robeson County, and for whose capture a large reward has been offered by the Governor of the State and the authorities of Robeson County, was killed yesterday, near Argyle, by Henry Biggs. McLaughlin had forced Biggs to accompany him on ono of his predatory excursions, Biggs being un? armed. Stopping in a swamp, they built a fire and lay down to rest. Mc? Laughlin fell asleep, when Biggs secured his pistol and shot him dead. The affair has caused great excitement and much rejoicing in Robeson County, where McLaughlin's many bloody deeds had mado him a terror to all good citizens.
