How TO BIIEAK ONE'O SELF OP BAB HABITS.- t?udet?taad j clearly the rea soui, and all ibe reasons why tho habit io in j urioua. Study the eubjcot till there is no lingering doubt, in your mind. Avoid the placen, tho persons, and the thoughts that lead to temptation. Fre? quent the places, associate with the per? sons, indulge the thooghta that lead I away from temptations. Keep busy; j idleness is the strength of bad habits. Do not give up the struggle when you have broken your resolution once, twice, ten times or 1,000 times. That only shows how much need there is for you to strive. Whon you have broken your I resolution, just think the matter over and endeavor to understand why it was you failed, so that you may be upon your guard against a recurrence of the same circumstance. Do not think it a little or au ensy thing that you have undertaken. It is fully to expect to break off a bad habit in a day, which may have been gathering strength in you for years.
