praising the devotion, the boldness, t

the world over, and especially of Sou
ern firemen. The first prize award
was a splendid silver trumpet, to Pion
Hook and Ladder, of Augusta, whi
was received by Mr. John S. Davids*
in a neat ana graceful speech. 1
next prize was a superb silver wi
stand. This was awarded to llichmc
No. 7, of Augusta, a second class ha:
engine; Captain Owen received. 1
next prize was an elegant silver pitch
a pair of goblets and a waiter; Angu
No. 5 was the lucky recipient, Mr.
Walsh returning thanks on behalf of

from incipient insanity, that theso symptoms
of mental disturbance be promptly removed.
