EFFECT OF RADICAL TEACHINGS TN ALA BAMA-?-ARREST OF THE CONSPIRATORS.-A conspiracy of negroes and white Loyal Leaguers, to blow up the village of Vienna, Ala:, and kill certain citizens, was discovered last week. The leader of tho gang, n negro by the name of Bob Ice, was arrested, and after a legal in? vestigation, was confined in his house j under guard. In the night, a body of armed men took him from the guard and put him to death. A similar conspiracy was discovered on the 3d inst., at Man? son Station, in Limestone County, and some thirty negroes arrested by the Sheriff and his posse. Such is the con? dition of affairs in reconstructed Ala? bama, THE NSW YORK ELEVATED RAILWAY. - The novel method of locomotion afforded by this railway will soon bo opened for publio accommodation. Experiment and speculation has ceased in reference to it, and already it is a success. It will be extended to Thirtieth street in tho course of sixty days, when a speedy transit from the lower precincts of the oity will be secured, to' all at. a moderate turill'. Twelve miles an hour will bo the general | rate.of speed, although twenty miles an hour has been made on the finished por? tion of the road. " The, business, men of the North are awaiting anxiously, the harvesting and sale, of the present cotton crop of the South. .
