Mr. Foney, who married Annie, the sister of John Surratt, on Sunday last, was removed yesterday from his position of chemist in the Army Medical Museum at Washington. Kelly was vice-President of a Seymour and Blair club during the Presidential campaign, and Callahan was an ex-Coufederate of? ficer, who had charge of a Confederate prison during the war, and has since joined tho Republicau party. Callahan, who was bailed yesterday, was resArrest* ed to-day. Edmund Fontaine, projector of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad, died to day, aged sixty-nine. G in. Cauby orders that Callahan, who killed Kelly, be tried by military com? mission. SAN FRANCISCO, Juno 26.-Senators Wade and Conkliu. with tho Committee of Ways and Menus of the House, were met by a number of leading business men and representatives from six Chiuese companies. The Chinese representative made a speech, expressing the hope that the Government would double the sub sidy to tho China line, thus enabling it to mn fortnightly. He suggested Con gressionol assurance of just protection, so that Chinese capitalists would invest money here. He complained of the un? justness of California laws, in preventing Chinese testimony in Courts, and es? pecially ns to Chinese emigrants and minora. Last week two car loads of apostates from tho Mormau Church left Utah for the East, purposing never to return. The party had been gathering for some time, and swelled during one or two pe? riods of delay. Some of the number were early settlers in Utah.
