A O^TERR HTMN BOOK.-A good joke is told of a preacher in Nebraska, who had dined with a friend just be? fore afternoon services. By mistake, tho minister took tho friend's over-coat for his own on his departure, and walking into the pul? pit, began the exercises without doff? ing the garment, it being rather ?billy in tho room. AN ELOQUENT PASSAGE.-Probably of all the beautiful and eloquent pas? sages ever written by the inimitable George D.
