The San Francisco Bulletin's semi?
annual review of the trade and com?
merce of San Francisco, for the sir
months ending June 15, shows that
30,500,000pounds of tonnage entered
the port during the period, two-fifths
of which was foreign trade. The
value of foreign imports for the same
time was about $8,000,000 in gold,
and the estimated currency value of
free goods reoeived by the Panama
steamers, $22,600,000; the value of]
merchandizo exports since January
1, $9,750,000, and coin and bullion
over #20,000,000. The internal reve?
nue collection for the District of San
Franoisco was over 85,000,000. Since
January 1, 32,000 passengers have
arrived there, two-thirds of whom
stayed.
