An experiment, made last year in Germany in planting potatoes, showed that where the "eyes" had first been removed, the yield was four times as great as where they were left in their place. The Great Erie war, which occu? pied so much of the time of the courts during the winter and spring months, was renewed .on Monday. Already three injunctions havo been issued.
