Ingersoll, formerly a member of Congress, and United States Minister to England dnring Mr. Fillmore's administration, died in Philadelphia, on Thursday, in the eighty-second year of his age. He was a brother of the Hon. Charles Jared Ingersoll, ulao formerly a mem? ber of Congress. The Indians were armed with the Henry, Spencer and Sharp's rifles, and fought with great bravery. Twenty-five Indiana were wounded. The first number of the Repudiator has been issued in St. Louis. The object of the publication is to ac? complish the repudiation of the na? tional debt, except that portion of it represented by legal tender notes.
