telegraph is used freely by theradical
leaders here, in their efforts to hold
the Alabama Convention in check.

Northern elections showed hostility
to negro supremacy, not to negro

regard to the conversion of seven
thirty bonds into five-twenties, ac?

It is understood to be the decision of
the Treasury Department, that unless
the holders of the seven-thirties pre?
sent them for conversion at maturity,
the option he has to make of such
conversion is lost, and they will after?
wards be paid in greenbacks.
