PORTLAND, ME., September 10. Chamberlain was elected Govornor yesterday by about 14,000. Tho Democrats have made gains through? out the State. The Republican loss in Bath is 247. Bid def ord gives a Democratic majority of 24, against 90 last year. The Democrats will gain representatives in some of the towns, but not enough to givo them much power in the Legislature. In 109 towns, giving Chamberlain over 6,000 majority, there iq a Republican loss of over 9,000 voters.
