These were brought from Heart's Content. From any tele? graph station in America to any telegraph station in Europe, for twenty words or less,! including the address of sender and rc-j oeiver, ?21 in gold; for every additional; word, not exceeding five letters, 21s.j in gold per word. From any telegraph] station in America to any telegraph station; in Africa, Asia or India, for twenty word: or less, including tho address of sendei and reoeiver, not exceeding in all ono hun dred words, ?25 sterling in gold. NEVESOTA, TEXAS, July 23.-The Con? servative Union Convention was organized to-day, by the election of Ashbel Smith, of Houston, as President. The State was fully represented, and great unanimity ! prevailed. Delegates to tho Philadelphia Conven? tion were appointed from both thc original secession and the anti-secession parties. Resolutions were adopted accepting tho principles and objects of the Philadelphia national Union Convention, and declaring that unmistakable evidence exists that a plot and conspiracy is on foot by tho radi? cals of Texas to falsify and defamo thc people of that State before tho Northern people, by representing them as hostile do the Government and Constitution of thc United States, and as vindictive and vio? lant towards Northern citizens and adhe? rents to the Federal Union during tho late war, and oppressive towards tho freo peo? ple among them. The resolutions say: "Wc pronounce these charges, severally and collectively, as false and malicious; made to inilucnco and embitter the North against Texas, to prevent the restoration of regular Govern? ment, harmony and good order, and ohtain political rule and power, in dofianco of the choice and will of tho great mast) of Texans. We invoke the Northern people of every party to give no credence to tl i falsehoods, which are only calculated to mislead them, to wrong us, to prometo dissension and prolong sectional ill-feeling. .
