The following resolutions were offer and adopted: Resolved, That it is both expedient a necessary to either build or rent soi buitahlebuilding for a guard house, to used as a place of detention for part breaking the peace of the city, and oil misdemeanors against the same ; also, the accommod?t ii.n of the police. On motion, the resolution was refen to the Committee on Guard House and 1 lice, with power to act.
