THE CINCINNATI SOCIETY.-Toe eighty-ninth anniversary meeting of this ancient and hon? ored society was held yesterday afternoon, at four o'clock, at the Sooth Carolina Hall, when the folio wing gentlemen were chosen to serve as officers for the ensuing year: General James Simons, president; General W. G. De Saussure, vice-president ; Geo. B. Bold, treas-1 urer; James Simons, Jr., secretary; Tons. P.. Egleston and S. Wragg Simons, stewards. The usual anniversary dinner was served up by Tully after the meeting and partaken of by the society. _DEATH OF HENRY T. GRAY.-This well known gentleman, for many years a practicing lawyer at this bar, died here yesterday, and his funeral will take place to-day. He was, for many years, clerk of the United States Dis? trict Court, and was a gentleman of much talent, and graduated at Cambridge, Massa? chusetts, University with distinction. His re? tiring disposition prevented his achieving that public fame which his high ability placed with? in his grasp. He was a brother of the late J. W. Gray, E>?., master in equity, and of Mr. John Bowen Gray. THE CHARLESTON RIFLEMEN CLUB. - The usual Fourth of July punch of this spirited corps was served np at the hall ot the Knights of Pythias, corner of King and Society streets, at ten o'clock yesterday morning, and was dis? cussed in a social manner by between fifty and sixty of the members. The festive occasion waa enlivened by Jest and sentiment, and the participants spent a couple of hours most pleasantly.
