THE RECEIPTS.-The arrivals at the cotton ports show a remarkable decline, and were for the week, ap to Friday last, 50,063 bales, against 78,702 the previous weet, and 130,633 for the pe? riod the year before. At New Orleans the supplies were 23,656 bales, In contrast with 69,796 the week or the previous year. The total receipts at the cotton ports from September 1, 1871, np to the latest dates, were 2,309,138 bales, against 3,117,899 last year, showing a decrease of 809,761 balea.
