THE SINGER MANUFACTURING COMPANY have JoBt opened a handsome office at No. 186 King street, opposite Silcox's lurniture store, where persons Inquest of a valuable and re? liable family sewing machine are requested to call. The office is kept by Mr. J. Clark Be? dell, the courteous local agent, and he has on hand a large and varied stock of machines at prices to suit every one. The mechanism of these machines Is wonderful, yet such is the simplicity o? the principle upon which they are constructed that a little boy can learn In a few hours to perform feats with his needle at which Minerva would have stood aghast. It ls also claimed that they require less motive power than most machines, and attachments of every kind, from the tucker to the ruffler, are to be had. The specimens of work lu the office B'iow what these attachments can be made to do. A sewing machine bas long been recognized necessity In every family, and all who have not yet bought one will find lt well worth their while to stop in at No. 186 King street and bave a talk with Mr. Bedell.
