THE CROPS.-The weather during the past week bas been of a favorable character, with hotsuns and occasional showers, and the general crop reports, particularly from the interior'of this State, have been on the whole more satisfactory. Tte report of the agricultural bureau estimates the growing cotton crop at about 8,000,OCO bales minimum and 3.600,000 maximum. Tur REcnPT3.--Tlie arrivals at the cotton ports for the week op to Friday last were 24,0 6 bales, against 28,138 the week berore and 16,526 last season. At New Orleans the receipts were ?498 bales m contrast with 5774 tue week of the year previous. The total supplies at the cotton ports from September l, 1870, up to the latest mall dates, were 3,839,398 bales in contrast with 2,804,091 the season before, showing an increase or 1,035,307 bales.
