REDUCTION OF FARES.-A new passenger tariff on thc South Carolina Railroad went into effect yesterday. The fares are reduced abont twenty per cent. Prom Charlo* ton to Columbia the reduced fare is $5 20; to Augusta $5 50, and to Camden $5 70. From Augusta to Columbia thc fare is $4 50. OPENINO OF STELLINO'S RESTAURANT.-Thc dwelling at thc northeast corner of Chalmers and Meeting streets was purchased some timo since by Mr. Aug.
