GREAT CHANGE TN THE WEATHER_Tbe change which has taken place la the weather daring the past few days is the tonio of choral-remark. ANOTHER FATAL AFFBAY.-On Thursday last, says the Edgefleld Advertiser, Mr. John Autrey was killed by Mr. Andrew Moyer. Sr. Mr. Autrey was a respectable citizen, living come eight or nine miles west of the village, In the neighborhood of Phillip! Church. Mr. Moyer, equally respectable, lives there still. With a fair breeze, a slishtly ruffled sea, a bright sky, and a full sail, an excursion around the harbor is a pleasure to be remembered. Passing by Cistlo Pinckney, which few care to visit, there is Monnt Pleasant, with it? magnificent groves and beautiful village-there are Sullivan's, Norris and James Islands, with their picture que scenery and glorious memories. There aro the remains of Moul? trie-the scarred fort of two revolutions, the grim ruins of Som'or-the easy conquest of which South? ern skill and Southern valor made an impregnaba fortress. There is the site of Wagner-the Beens of deeds of heroism that would furnish material for a thousand Iliads. There are the grasa cn 'vu ram? parts of Johnson, whence sped the first shell m the siege of Sunter. A sand bank ls all that remains ol the small earthwork that boro the illustrious name ot Beauregard, and Ripley is tailing a prey to the winds and waves.
