INCENDIABA FLUE UP THE ROAD.-About'12 o'clock on Tuesday morning a 6hed,butcher-rea and other outbuildings on tho main ro.d, near the Mag? nolia Cemetery, were set on fire by some unknown person. There waa no one on tho premires at the time, and every building ?te destroyed. A few bales of hay and some agricultural Implements were also burnt The property waa owned by Mr. D. Mc Swiney, and was insured for $8C0. which will only cover a portion of the loss. This is the second fir? that has occurred In the same vicinity. THE MILLS HOUSE.-It is reported that a few days ago a couple of wealthy Wesieru gentlemen came to Charleston, and tried to negotiate for a ten years' lease of this commodious building. It was their purpose to refurni-h it in elegant style, and keep lt on a par with the bett hotels in the United States. From some cause the negotiation fell through, and it is even said that thc question of the ownership of the hotel will be thrown into a Court ?f Equity. We hope that this report is without foundation. The Mills House, if possible, should be opened et once. THE LAZAEETTO.-Tbe new Lazaretto or Hospital buildiug, to be put up on Morris Island, will be seveDty-five feet long, twenty feet wide, and twelve feet in height, inside. It will bo substanti? ally built, and there will be water cisterns under? neath the building. J ht house for the steward and nurses will be thirteen feet by sixteen feet, and two stories high. A Mniilar building to this lott will te put up at Fort Jolnson, or on Sullivan's Island, at one of which peaces tho quarantine station will be. Dr. Lobby, the health officer, has the matter in charge and will begin work as soon as the ?
