Archi? bald Campbell Tait, D. D., JD. C. L., Primate of All-England and Metropolitan, ninety-second Archbishop of Canterbury, took place in the metropolitical church of tho province in the ! presence of a vast number ot persons. The Dean and Chapter, with others connected with the cathedral, assembled, in the audit-room, where Sir Travers Twiss, the Vicar-General of the Province, produced the Queen's man? date for tho enthronement. A procession was then formed and passed through the great western door of the cathedral into the chou-, immediately upon which the Hallelujah Cho? rus was sung, and divine service was proceed? ed with.
