NASHVILLE, April 4.-COTTON.-There was con? siderable activity in the cotton market during tho morning, and prices ran up as birh as iSiic, but in tho afternoon buyers became a little uneasy, believ? ing that prices had reached their maximum. The market was very much excited botb in Liverpool and New York, and there is no telling what the figure- may reach. The stock cn hand is so small here that there is not muoh room lor speculation.
