Whereas, Thc best interests ot the city, as well as the convenience of tho shipping visiting the port, demand that the channel of Cooper River be kept open with sufn cient depth of water for all commercial purposes, and free from obstruction : He it ordained. That in future all mud removed lrom any of the city docks by dredge machines, or otherwise, shall be removed one hundred and fifty fathoms from the end of the dork.
