UNION BR?D.-WO learr mo the Charleston Adv?cale that materials have been procured for a monument td be erected over the remains of the Union soldiers interred in this victmty. Tho fund to erect this, monument has been raised by subscriptions, nearly ?500 having been donated in this city. The monument will be composed of Massachusetts granite and Vermont marble, and the shaft will bs eighteen feet high when erected. It will have lettered upon ii one hundred and seventy-one names, besides honoring ooo hundred and sixty whose names are unknown. This monument viii' be placed on the grounds in Magnolia Cemstery recently secured to the United States, and will be engraved with a suitable inscription.
