[Iii iii A ? FRIDAY MORNING, FEBRUARY 22, 18C7. I WOULD NOT DIB AT All.. VES-"I would not die in Spring Time." I would not dio in Spring time, When worms begin to crawl, When cabbago plants are shooting np, And frogs begin to squall; ?. Tis them the girls are full of charms, And smile upon the men When lambs and peas are in their prime I would not perish then. I would not die hi Summer. When trees aro flllod with fruit And every sportsman has a gun, The little hird? to shoot The girls then wear the bloomer dress. And half distract the men; lt is the time to sweat it out I . vould not perish thea. I would not die in Autumn, ? When new mown hay amens sweet, And little pigs are rooting round For something nice to eat 'Tis then the huntsman's wild halloo Is heard along the gie?. And oysters 'gin to fatten up I would not perish then. . I would not die in Winter, For one might freeze to death, When blustering Boreas sweeps around And takes away ono's breath. When ale-gh-belia jingle-horses snort, And buckwheat cakes are tall: In fact this is a right go^i world I would not die at alt COMMERCIAL. THE SHOE TBADE.-The Boston Traveller, of Friday, says : Tho boot and shoe trado continues dnll, and 1B likely to continue so. There are a few customers in town, but they are purchasing quite sparingly. The prices have declined, and many of tho recent sules have been at loss than cost to the poanufaeturers, but they could probably be replaced at the prices obtained, as there hoe been a decline in tho prico of stock.
