December 10.-Tho receipts at this point foot up 19,098. mid the stock on ham! ls 8160. There is probably very bttle cotton lett in tho country lo bo brought to market. The crop was shurt and tho fall ex? ceedingly favorable for gathering, and wo can safely con? clude that thc um-amt shipped from Selma Ulis season will not exceed 22.500 or 23,otH) hales. This is a lamenta? ble falling off from tho old imte-bcllum crops, wa cn Selma shipped 80,000 to 1WI.OO0 bales. The area of the region of country shipping from Selma has rather in? creased than diminished in the last H?X yate. So wc can Bafely assert that this section of thu cotluu-growing region produced less than one-fourth of au average crop before the war. Mobile Market, MOBILE.
