COMMITTED SUICIDE.-The Mobile Tribune the 17thlsays an inquest was held by the Ooroi Yesterday upon the body of one Albert Lownc ?rayton, lato a Confederate soldier, who w found dead at Choctaw Point battery, witt twenty feet of the water's edge. Deceased vt well dressed in a Confederate gray frock co vest and pants, and had letters and papers abc his person, which fully identified him. By] side was a copy of Mr. A. Girard's last publioati and sn empty vial labelled "laudanum." T body bore no marks of violence. When last se -on Saturday last-deceased r:ade an appoii mont to meet a friend the next day and failed keep it, and it' is therefore probable that abc this time he put an end to himself. There was no doubt in the minds ;the jury of inquest that he came to his death ; his own hand by taking laudanum, and they re der ed a verdict accordingly, but no cause can assigned for it.
