On last Wednesday evening quito a number of friande were invited to witness the union of hearts and hands of two of Anderson's popular y ?ung people-Mr. Chas. E. Cobb and Miss Halsy Sharpe-at the home of tho bride's mother. The handsome home was beautifully decorated with ivy and chrysanthemums and lighted by innumerable candles, which shed a eoat radiance over all. While tbe guests were gathering they wore entertained by aotue very flne mnftie, There was a hush of expectancy when the wedding march-Mendelssohn's-be gan, rendered very beautifully and ex pressively by Miss Mittle Trlbble on the Si ano, Misa Knight on the violin and tr.' The bride's melds were beautifully dressed In white organdy, with white ribbons, and oarried boqueta of white chrysanthemums. The bridal party formed a seml-olrcle and jost beneath a large basket of white chrysanthemums suspended from the center of a canopy formed by white rib bons, stood the bride and groom, where, in a very impressive mauser, the cere mony waa performed by Rev. J, N. H. Summerei. Schubert's Serenade was softly played on the plano and flute during the cere mony. Several hours were spent in offering congratulations to the happy couple end in pleasant converse. j Delightful refreshments were served | during the evening. Quito a somber of handsome presente were received.
