"They lind a cousin that came out for a week in harvest time. Ile was in bus inerts in New V?<rk, and wore light cd ored plaid clothes. Ho was very socia ble, too, und would tome around about lunch limo in the hayfield, and would eal with us as free as anything, which seemed very good of bim when you'd hear him talk of his hotel in the city. Ile was very fond of the plums and har vest apples, too, and praised up every thing we offered bim, hut ?lid say that as for liim ho had mi taste lor farming. Thc eily was the place for boy- of spiri'.. And the Urinion boys thought si too, and said thal they bad no taste for farm i Hg, and they meant to get in the city as soon as they could. And when I camu to think it over, I really began to see that I bad no lasle for fanning either.
