Mr. Editor, given you so long an account of this meeting because it is the tirst Circuit Convention ever held in the county, and, so far as I know, in the Stale. lt waa a new enterprise, and we entered into it with no little doubt : but the event proved to he even more gratifying than our most hopelul anticipations.
