Never be afraid of being in the minority, if the minority is based upon sound principles. ? There is some justice in the world after all. By overwork, bad feeding and worse stabling the glanders are produced in horses, i and now their wicked and unwise keepers are taking the'contagion and dying of the disease. ? Somebody is responsible for the story that American ladies are becoming more and more in the habit of sleeping in their corsets, for the purpose of keeping their figures good. If this is true, American ladies will not be so s numerous a few years hence. ? Cheerfulness has been called the bright weather of the heart It gives harmony to the soul, and ia a perpetual song-without words. * It is tantamount to repose.
