There is an agricultural paper published in Bal? timore, from 1819 to the present day ; there is a Northern gentleman writing in that paper who says he hns purchased land fifteen miles below Augusta, Georgia?pine land, at ten or fit teen dollars an acre. His object is fruit, and he can get from twenty to twenty-Jive dollars a bushel for them in New York. Mr Pell's (of New York J crop of apples brought him ten thousand dollars annually. Col. Singleton's (of South Carolina) crop of pinders brought him ten thousand dollars annually in New York. A neighbor of mine, a Baptist Miuister, saya his wheat weighs seventy pounds to the bushel. This grows out of the fuel that the Hon. Mr. Clemsoc, and .Mr. Tourney. State Geologist, have informed yuu what ihr ier tilizers of the State can and will accomplish if used.
