Great excitement has been caused in the vicinity of IVris, Texas, by the I remarkable recovery of Mr. J. E. Hatcher our popular young medical student who lives near Vaucluse, is spending the day in our town. We are truly happy to he able to inform our many friends and especial ly those wiio have subscribed to the church fund, that the framing is now up and that Messrs. Maull and Water, of Johnston, expects to com plete their contract in two weeks, ihey have eight carpenters at work on the church building now. The public school in tiiis place is in a nourishing condition.
