At one of the churches on Sunday last no less than three dogs, one a large pointer, roamed the aisles to the great annoyance of the wor shippers. Persons owning religiously disposed dogs should provide for their Sunday entertainment at home in some stable or outhouse with a strong chain around tlieir necks, where tliey will not make the little hoys laugh or disturb tiie devout in the midst of their prayers. The present practice of allowing these unclean beasts to pol kite tiie sanctuary, Kunduy after Sun day, is to say the least an exhibition of shocking taste, and a great want of consideration for the sac red u ess of the place and the feelings of others. Jt is to be hoped that those who read this notice will, after soundly abusing the Editor for calling attention to thik 4 disgusting nuisance, make u mental resolve to chain tlieir worthless pets at home before starting out for church on next Sunday.
