Until about eighteen months ago, she was the. picture of robust health; but about that time she submitted to vaccination, and soon afterward an alarming decline commenced. Her physicians, of which she had several, had various opinions as to the cause of her trouble, and the common idea was that she was a victim of tuberculosis; but this was never definitely determined to the satisfaction of all her friendrf Quite a number of them believed that had it not been for the vaccination, the result would have been different. Miss Lesslie was a young lady of admirable disposition, a Christian in both profession and practice, and she gave evidence of her splendid character in the fortitude and resignation with which she bore her long and hopeless sufferings. Her death was a sad blow to her parents and relatives as well as to many friends. The funeral took place at Neely's Creek church on Saturday. MERE-MENTION.
