IN pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly, entitled "^.n act to reduce all acts and parts of acts in relation to County Commissioners, their powers and duties, into one act, and to alter and amend the same," the Board beg leave, respectfully, to make their Annual Report, with exhibits showing their receipts and expenditures during the fiscal year, ending October Slat, 1876. Upon the assessed value of the real and personal property of York oounty, reported by the County Anditor at ($4,963,311,) four millions nine hundred and sixty-three thousand three hundred and eleven dollars, the Board levied a tax of three mills for ordinary oounty purposes, and two and a half mills for railroad purposes ; to raise, in all, that is, for ordinary oounty purposes $14,889.93. to pay interest on Railroad bonds, $7,444,961, and to purchase County Bonds for Railroad purposes, $4,963.81.1. Of these amounts, there have been collected twenty-six thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven dollars and ten cents, ($26,867.10,) for all oounty purposes.
