A kind friend handed us the following surec prevent ative, wh ich we pubbfish below, for the benefit of those who have and have not suffered from the loss upon their farms, of poultry: "T'he chicken cholera has been so very prevalent and fatal, for some yours past, that the business of chick en raising has almost become a heart less task to our farmers' wives. And as the season is now, just at hand when they will commence operations to raise their supplies of chickens, your many lady readers wvould doubt less be glad to know of some aure pre G'entative of that fatal disease.
