De. bates ocurred on tho telegraphic and pos. tal bill, and the NiagWas ship oanal bill, but no definite action was taken. Mr. Stevens, from the tomtnittee of Ap propriations, reported a bill making appro priations for sundry civil expenses of the Government, for the year ending June 80, 1807, which was ma1de the special crder for Tuesday next. Aniong the appropriations is one for $00, 000 for cemeteries for deceased soldiers. The oonsideration or the tariff was re sumed, and various sections adopted as reported, except pig iron, on which the duty was to be ten dollars.
