'-This was followed by a lecture from Prof.’ V. E. Rector, of the University of S. C. His address Was on .‘‘The Enrichment of Rural^ Life.** Fro£ Rector is a~Very practi- 1 cal man, with sincere regard for strup;- plinj; huAianity and he brought with him a practical message which did the people who listened to him much good. After dinner graduating exercises for the fourth' year girls were car ried out. The three girls who have successfully completed the four :.years work in the canning club ard Mis# Julia Delk, of Hilda, Miss Ilaisy Wil liams, of S|an Hill, and Miss Inei 'War ren, of Double Ponds. ^Each of these young ladies took parb-in the graduat ing exercises and each performed her part creditably. The certificates were awardef to these three girls by Mrs. D4»ra Dee Walker who first interested these girls in the canning club w.o^k.
