The Celebrated Judge Lynch. Mr. Bartholomew Lynch, who resides over Kellogg's Fourth District Court, nnd who hns won such noevhtble notn rioty in the trhtl oF the Picayune libel easo, is n son of old Erin, and speaks the English with a broad brogue. There is a humorous as well as au irascible pburac to Lynch's character. It is related of him that' uot long since a lawyer?'who iB also a son of the Green Isle?was arguiug a somewhat tedious case, before him, when Lynch having satihfud himself as the merits of the ense, and dreading a longthy speech, said quite abruptly to the volublo uttor acy whom we shull name Ilngnn : 'Mieter llagan, sit down, sir !' The attorney, with n coolness that was refreshing pi>id not the slightest attention to the command, and proceed ed with his argunn nt. 'Mister Hagan/ said Lynch, rather more pointedly, 'take yonr sate sir !' The lawyer scarcely noticed the inter ruption, but plunged ahead as vigorously as ever. Lynch was now excited, and turning to the sheriff he exclaimed. (Mr Sheriff, sate Mr Ilngnn !' The sheriff hesitated a moment to fee if his superior wns in earnest, when suii denly the irate magistrate made au at tempt to smother his wrath that was a palapnblo failure, exclaimed, 'Mistet llagan, go on thin !' and after whisper ing something to the c crk, he ' relapsed into a listening attitude, remaining per fecfly quiet for some Lour and half, und at which time the lawyer having exhnus t<>d the Buhjcetand being quite exhausted himself, sank into a chair and sa'un ted an extensive pocket handkerchief with the copious perspiration that horded hie legal brow. There k acts as an irritating poison on the internal viscera and excreting organs of the body. The liver becomes torpid sad fails to secrete not only this virus, hut also the bib en the blood. Both the runs and the bile accumulate in the circulation, ?ud produce violent oonsti > tionnl disorder. The spleen, the kidneys, and the stomach sympathise with the liver, and become disordered also. Finally, the instinct of out or ganism, as if in an attempt to expel the noxioua infusion, concentrates the whole blood of the body in the iatcrnal excretoriea to force them to cast it oat. The blood leaves the surface, and rushes to the central organs with congas tire violence. ThJa is the Crim.. But in this effort it mils. Then the Fevbr follows, in which the blood leaves the con trol organa and rushes to the surface, as if in another effort to expel the irritating poison through that other great excretory?the skin. la tBia also it fails, and the system abandons the attempt exhausted, and waits for the recovery of atrength to repeat the hopeleee effort another day. These are the fits or paroxysms of Fbtbr and Aoub. Sueh constitutional disorder will ef course under mine the health if it is not removed. We have labored to find, and have found, an antidote, Ayer's Ague Cure. whioh neutralises this malarious poison in the blood, and stimulates the liver to expel it from the body.
