OrilCE or CoUNTT COMMISSION Kits, 1 J AKt'ARY 12TII, 1892. / Willi It HAS, by an Act of I ho Legislature of South Carolitin, approved tho nn...i -i # i\ * ??? - - x~uu uay ui i/eecinuer, 11VJ1, 11 14 made lawful for ibe Townships of Jonesvills and l'uickney, respectively, to subscribe to the capital stock of the Lockhait Shoals Railway Company, such sums and in such mautier as said Act prescribes : And Whereat, by said Act, it is mado the duty of the County Commissi mers of Union County, to submit to the qualified electors of said townships, respectively, the question of "Subscription" or "No Subscription" of the sum of Twenty Thou-and Dollars, by each of said townships, to the Capital Stock of the said Lockhari Shoals Railway Company, in six per cent. Coupon bonds, payable by levy of taxes upon thu taxable property of said township*, in Twenty and Thirty years after the issue thereof, and to bo received by the said Railway Company at par ; said bouds to be of the d euomiiwtions of One Hundred, Five lluudrcd and One Thuusand dollars; provided that the funds realized on said bunds shall be expended in the construction of said Railway within the limits of tho said Townships. And Wdereat, by eaid Act, it is tn?do the duty of the said County Couiuii-sioners to order an election, specifying the time, place and purpose of the election nn.l tn * three managers at each election preciuct in said townships, who shall hoi<i and couduct aaid election, at which the hnllots shall hate written or printed thereon, the words ''Subscription" or "No Subscription."
