All persons initialing to become exhibitors at the next Fair are desired to enter their articles the day before the Fair opens, or as soon as possible on the morning of the 28lh October.? l.adics arc particularly requested to attach cards to their articles, naming the department .1. ,i. i ti I. M., of each day, and at that lime every ofliccr, mid (hose who have agreed to act as superintendents and committees of award, are requested to beat their posts. Articles which arc the products of the soil, must be entered by (lie producer of the same. Inhibitors will, ut all times, gi*e the neeessa ry pers >nul attention to whatever they may have on exhibition, and at the e|o??e of die l'air, take entire charge of the same. All diligence will bti used by the ollirers of the .Society to prevent injury to animals or articles on exhibition, but they will not be responsible for any damage or loss that may occur. No person, except the awarding committers on duly ami oiliecrs of the Association, will bo allowed inside of the arena while the exhibition of animals is going on. Any person violating this rule will forfeit his premium, (if one is awarded,) without said paity is sent for by the committee. Kxhihitars tire expected to obey the marshals promptly in producing their stock when instructed to do so, and any person proving refractory, will he ruled out front competing, Fxhihitors of thorough bred animals must tile their pedigrees with the Secretary when the entries arc made. Tlio statement accompanying the certificate of competitors on crops, must embrace the following parliclurs : * huraeter, exposure ami location of the ground ; the method of preparing it; tlie time of planting or sowing; tlio kind of seed; tUo mode ; amount and cost of cultivation ; kind ami amount of guano or runtime used; tlio time of reaping or gathering it.? Threshing and measuring or weighing one part of the land and averaging the balance will not do. The whole product must bo gathered and weighed or measured. Ail machinery entered for competition must lio put iu practical operation wheu required by the siiporiiitcndaut. No articles or animal entered Ibr a premium can be removed or taken away before the close of the Exhibition. No premium will be paid oil animals or articles removed in violation of this rule. The premiums will be awarded from theStund at l'J o clock on Thursday. On this day there w ill be an auction of stock and other articles. No disorderly conduct of any kind will he permitted: a police force will be upon the grounds sulViciem to prevent the same, and see that all the rules are observed, and a watch will be kept at night for the protection of all prop vrly. Persons will he admitted for fifty conls each lay, or one dollar for a season ticket. Any inaui.fncturers of machinery or agricultural implements, wishing information lint herein fumirlivd, will receive the sanio by addressing the Secretary. The S. C. k f. Kailroad passes through the grounds, thereby facilitating the loading and unloading of machinery without any expense of drayage.
