Be it enacted ly the Sen? ate and Ilouae of Representativa of thc State of South Carolina, noio met and*\ Sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority 0/ the same, Tiiat the first subdivision of Section 25, of an Act entitled "An Act to re? vise, simplify and abridge the rules, practice, pleadings and forms of Courts in this State," approved March 1st, 1870, be amended so as to read as follows : The Court of General Sessions at Green? ville, for the County of Greenville, on the first Monday of January, May, and September, and the Court of Common Pleas at Greenville, for the County of Greenville, on the first Wednesday after the first Monday ia January, May an September. Sfc. 2. Thc County of Marion is here by transferred from the Fourth Circuit to the Third Circuit. SEC. 3. Section -0, of an Act entitled "Aa Act to revise simplify and abridg thc rules, practice, pleadings and form of Courts in this ftzte," is hereby amended by the addition of the follow icg subdivision : Thc Court of Genen Sessions at Marion for the County of Marion on thc third Monday after the fourth Monday of January, ?' y sod October, and the Courts of Common Pleas at Marion, on the first Wednesday after thc third Monday after thc fourth i\londay of January, 31ay and October. SEC. 4. Section 20, of tho Act mentioned in the third Section of this Act is hereby amended by striking out the third subdivision thereof and the fourth subdivision shall hereafter be the third subdivision and the fifth shall herc after bc the fourth. SEC. 5. That all processes, writs and recognizances of every kind, whether respecting jurie?, witnesses, bail or otherwise, which relate to the terms of the Courts of Common Pleas and Gen? era! Sessions as heretofore established and made returnable to said Courts as heretofore established, shall be returna able and applicable to the Courts as cs tablished by this Act. Jail, Poor House and Bridges; in fact a detailed account of all their doings, as required by an Act entitled "An Act to defiue the jurisdic? tion 2nd duties of County Commision? ers," approved September 2G, 18G8. Uundlett be, and is hereby, authorized and empowered to erect and build a wharf at tho South end of his ?ot, in the town of Beaufort, situated at the corner of Uay and Ninth streets, and to extend the same as far Fouthward, toward tho channel of the Kiver, as mny bo necessary for com? mercial purposes, and Eastward across the foot, and to the West line of Ninth ?treat, and that he be, and is hereby, authorized und empowered to construct and extend Niuth street, from Bay street down to said wharf. Approved the 7th day of March, A. D., 1871. AN ACT TO EXTEND THE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF CAMDEN. SECTION 1. Bc it enacted by the Sen ate and House of Representatives, of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same: That thc limits of the town of Camden be, and the rame are hereby extended as follows, to wit : The Western bound? ary shall commence at the point at which Wylie-street intersects with Pine-Tree Creek, and shall extend Northward along the lines of said Wylie-street, three fourths of a mile beyond the present terminus of the said street, and from this point the Northern boundary shall ?xtend in an Eastern direction, until it intersects norse branch, and thence by :ourse of said stream to the point where it empties into Little Pine Tree Creek, and by the course of said creek in a Southern direction, to the confluence A said creek into Pine Tree Creek, and thence by the course of the last named jreek to the point where Wylie street now intersects the said creek. SEC. 2. That the Intendant and War. lens of the town of Camden are hereby required to proceed immediately upon the passage of this Act, to designate by proper marks and mocumeofs, thc soundaries hereinbefore authorized. Beit enacted by the Sen? ate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same : That the Supreme Court shall, on the last day of each stated term, make and publish an order designating the order in whioh the causes from the several Circuits sball be called at the stated term of the Court next ensuing, whioh order shall also specify the time to be allowed to thc hearing of causes from each Circuit. This order shall be irrevocable. SEC. 2. If the canses from the several Circuits cannot be heard within the period alloted as provided in the pre? ceding Section, the Court shall continue the same to be heard after the regular call of the Circuit, or in its discretion, till the next stated term.
