With this lie drew iis chair po ,k and started to strike McKinney. M Kinney had started hunting and had i hands a double barrel slit gun, and i negro drew back to strike lie backe -k out of his way. The gun was loaded wit d shot and the load took effect in th gro's right breast. After lie was sh walked backward 20 or 30 feet then for rd 60 or 75 yards anl sat down. Mi ilson had him carried home and lie die( out an hour after he was shot. The ki took place in the edge of Mr. Wilson rd.
