They were somewhat slow about swarming this season, of w4ich lie complained to his neighbor. The 'said neighbor with malice afore thought, t-hl him that his grand father had often made them swarm by throw ing them up in the air with a paddle. Hairve liastenu home to try the experi ment on his Siothfutl distillers of the sweet. lie gathered up something less than a half bushd on a clapboard and gave them a toss heavenward. Then they swarmed. About a gallon fell on the back of a sleepy donkey standing near, as many morm on a mule that was looking on, and a double handfull on the back of larve's neck. Then chaos reigned supreme. The mulo "lit" out for Central, jennet made for the house, knocked over the cradle and up set the table, while there was a regular cylone of man, bees brush and cuss words in the yard. Tho farmer ran in the house and floored the jennet with a ehair, the good wife and children fled to the woods and the bees held tie fort. the balance of the day.
