That so far as this body has been able to ascertain, the ofioers of the County are discharging their rspeiUve duties faithfully; but it has been brought to the attention of tlis jury that a prisoner was contvited of assault and battery before Trial Justice M. A. Boggs, and senteneed to pay a line or to suffer imprisonment, and that from some cause, said sentence has not been executed. V. That while this jury have disoharged the responsible duties of this office for the last three years to the best of their ability, they beg leave to express the hope that no contingency will ariso which will make their services any longer iecessiy.
