Bowen's, we no tice that several large rocks have been removed from the road, which was a very timely and good improvement. We learn that Mr. J. R. Holcomb's residence, near Liberty 8tat;on, was burned down on last Sunday night. Every thing was lost, even to the 'family's wearing appearel, shoes, hats, &c., the inmates barely escaped being burned themselves. It is supposed to have caught from a stove. We have not learned the full particulars.
